  • Bound in brown cardboard covers; upper cover decorated with illustrated paper; a photocopy of a portrait of Columbus mounted on a cardboard medallion painted metallic gold and framed with a length of thick pink hemp cord; a paper cut-out of the sail of one of Columbus' ships, hand-colored in blue, yellow, and green; and a folded cardboard cut-out of a hand, which, when unfolded and extended, reveals the title and author of the play; paper cut-out of the Ediciones Vigía oil lamp logo, hand-colored in red, yellow, blue, and brown, and cut-out of the mask of tragedy affixed to lower cover; photocopied patterned endpapers; text illustrated with three additional full-page hand-colored cut-outs.
