  • Two reviews of An Intimate Evening With Typhoid Mary by Carl Holder. Marty, a dying man confined to a hospital bed, imagines himself in a night club act about Typhoid Mary Mallon, an immigrant who spread typhoid fever without showing symptoms of it. He tells his imaginary audience her story and his own. During his act, he is treated by a medical team in realistic detail. Reviewed March 20, 2016, when it was produced at the New Ohio Theatre, 154 Christopher Street, New York, N.Y. The author portrayed Marty.
