- Summary
- Like many socialists of the twentieth century, Ernesto Benado believed that capitalism was dying. The fact of noting that economic development is unpredictable and that the knowledge of human behavior, when applied to billions of beings, is not a scientific discipline. This elimination of certainty has served as an argument for many socialists to have become lovers of goods, money and have tried to change goals throughout their lives. It is not the case of the author, who in these notes shows how he was awakening from utopia without losing his true north: the creation of a more just and equitable society.
