- "Lehman, Layman Genealogy Handbook was published in early 2006 reflecting the state of knowledge as to early Lehman immigrants, their descendants and European origins as of late 2005. Much has been learned since then, both as a result of conventional research and by DNA testing, up until the time of this Supplement's completion in mid 2011. While the information is available on a website, websites are not durable. The information, in the form of this addendum to the original book, is more permanently preserved. The information contained herein includes, in addition to more recent research, knowledge acquired from 69 additional DNA tests as well as data contributed by those participants, their sponsors and recruiters."--Page iii.
