- Summary
- This is how it begins. With a near-empty building, the inhabitants forced out of their homes by property developers. With two women: idealistic, impassioned blogger Ella and seasoned campaigner, Molly. With a body hidden in a lift shaft. But how will it end?
- The building was once home to families, friends, children, couples, love, life. Then the inhabitants were forced out by the developers to build luxury homes. Only six are left-- fighting against the attempts to evict them from their homes and their histories. Would-be journalist Ella is leading a media campaign to protect those who refuse to leave. When she returns home to find the body of a man she doesn't recognize, her neighbor Molly convinces her that the police won't believe she's innocent. They hide the body, but repercussions of that night threaten to change both their lives.
