He speaks of his personal and professional relationships with Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein, especially their collaboration on the stage musical South Pacific, and his friendship with leading lady Mary Martin. He speaks of other projects as well, including the stage play Mister Roberts, and his work in films with Marlene Dietrich.
