Summary
John Campbell Sinclair (1800-1878), son of Peter and grandson of Donald, married Mary Julia McLean in 1822, and emigrated from Scotland to Pictou, Nova Scotia in 1838. The family immigrated to Newburyport, Massachusetts in 1853, and moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1854. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina and elsewhere. Includes much family history and some genealogy in Scotland (including family participation in some of the famous feuds with McDonalds, Campbells, etc.).
