- A story framed with suspense and emotion, where love, suffering and a majestic and inhospitable landscape become its protagonists. At the end of the nineteenth century, an orphan young girl is forced to travel to the end of the world. This is the south of Argentina, almost the last port inhabited before reaching Antarctica. Ushuaia, a small and distant region founded by the Anglican missionaries, not only knows of murders of colonizers at hand of their Indians, but also of the construction of a village surrounded by a beauty as unexpected as unknown. Sophie Collinwood will end up accepting her fate, including the possibility of marrying an English estate owner to take charge of her son's education. However, the estate of Daniel Summer and his family seems to have buried a mystery that will gradually manifest itself to him, in silence, until the girl comes to understand that her life is in danger. What does that land hide? Who dwells in the shadows of that house?
