Summary
Thirty two programs (1899 - 1941) for You never can tell by Bernard Shaw documenting the play's first productions in London, in 1899 by the [Incorporated] Stage Society, and New York, in 1905 by Arnold Daly's company at the Garrick Theatre, and frequent early productions around this time, mainly in England, including four by the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. A number of amateur and regional productions in the United States are included, notably David B. Itkin's 1939 production at the Kenneth Sawyer Goodman Memorial Theatre, featuring Sam Wanamaker.
