- Über 100 Jahre Forschungs- und Publikationstätigkeit zu Megalithgrabinventaren in Nordmitteleuropa liefern eine umfangreiche, in EinzeIberichten und typologischen Studien vorgelegte Materialbasis, die in der vorgelegten Dissertationsschrift in standardisierter Weise erfasst wurde: 22900 Artefakte von 1582 Fundorten, darunter 4357 Keramikgefäße. Der Autorin gelingt es, regionale typochronologische Gliederungen vorzuschlagen und für Norddeutschland räumliche Trends zu postulieren. Die trichterbecherzeitliche Grabkeramik wird mittels statistischer Analysen auf Fragen zur Interaktion und Kommunikation lokaler und regionaler Gruppen hin untersucht. Daraus entwickelt die Autorin ein Modell, das einen typologischen Trend von Westen nach Norden und Nordosten aufzeigt.
