- Two scrapbooks consisting of 65 black and white, 8 x 10 inch publicity photographs, some with identifying labels, of William Boyd, actor, heralding his appearances as Hopalong Cassidy in a series of 30 plus films produced by Paramount Pictures and in films currently in release or in production : Hidden gold (1940), Three men from Texas (1940), Outlaws of the desert (1941) (working title: Sheik of Buffalo Buttes), Riders of the timberline (1941) (working title: Timber wolves), Secret of the wastelands (1941), Undercover man (1942) (working title: Across the border), and Bar 20 (1943).

- Many of the photographs depict William Boyd and his wife actress, Grace Bradley, on the actor's ranch "high in the mountains more than 45 miles from Hollywood," along with their horses "Topper" and "Turnabout," and their red setter, "Michael."
- 1 photograph depicts William Boyd and "Topper" with actress, Ruth Rogers, Boyd's co-star in Hidden gold (1940) directed by and produced by Harry Sherman and Paramount Pictures.
- 1 photograph shows a painting of William Boyd as "The Volga boatman" from the film The Volga boatman (1926) directed by Cecil B. DeMille.
