• Consists of a single sheet of stiff kraft paper folded accordion-style into four folds, each with text and/or illustrations on both sides. When unfolded, recto pages contaiin book's content, with some fold-out text and images of early historical Matanzas. The work as a whole celebrates the city's 320th anniversary. The verso pages each have a red hand-painted watercolor wash applied to the kraft paper, on top of which are mounted illustrations cut out of paper and pasted to the covers. The front and back cover have illustrations of women wearing long dresses, which are filled with scanned and miniaturized or manipulated digital images of buildings from the city of Matanzas, Cuba. Interior contains text on two folded strips of paper, one in Spanish and one in English, with interspersed images of Cuban bridges. A list of bibliographical references is pasted down on the fourth interior page. Title, author and illustrator names, publisher name, collection name, and a paper cut-out of the Vigía lamp also decorate the book.
