Summary
The artist's book "Death Animals" comprises a series of pencil drawings that Jorge Satorre (Mexico City, 1979) made ex profeso in parallel to his homonymous exhibition at the Museo Tamayo. Far from being a record, the publication is intended as an extension of the exhibition space. An exercise that allowed to follow the practice of the artist outside the museum, as well as to continue the narrative of the sample beyond its possibilities as a temporary presentation. As an editorial object, it is also a piece of the exhibition and the artist.
