Summary
Expressive flows of color and precise color fields: Bignia Corradini (*1951) paints on canvas and develops picture-objects. The colors come together on an equal footing, disrupt each other, are combined, superimposed, permeate each other, and build bridges as if they were live. Corradini again and again finds a structure anew that tames the boundless in a form, a fragile equilibrium, a concentration. Tension and flow in the transitions is the theme; the energy of the picture thus develops via fractures and standstill.
