  • First performed September 19, 1827 at the Academie Royale de Musique. Scenario by Eugène Scribe, choreography by Jean-Pierre Aumer (information from Wikipedia).
  • Manuscript in ink; emendations in pencil.
  • Parts include: violon-conducteur [Répétiteur], violin 1, violin 2, alto [viola], basso 1 [cello], basso 2 [double bass], flutes, clarinets, oboes, bassoons, horns, trumpets, trombone "haute contre," trombone taille, trombone basse, timbales [kettledrums].
  • On first page of most parts, in ink: Lecomte; on cover of violin conductor score, in pencil: Niblos.
  • Several parts have been bound in a cover from a publication by Schonenberger with the address of Boulevard Poissonnière 28, indicating a date not before 1843.
