Summary
A scrapbook consisting of 147 black and white, 8 x 10 inch publicity photographs, some with identifying labels, of Carol Bruce, actress, heralding her Universal Pictures screen debut in the film This woman is mine (1941) directed by Frank Lloyd and her appearance in the film Keep 'em flying (1941) directed by Arthur Lubin, produced by Universal Pictures.

  • Many of the photographs depict Carol Bruce modeling the fashions of the time (including numerous bathing suit shots, several on location at Catalina Island) representing designers, fashion houses, hair stylists, department stores, etc. such as Willard George, Emily Moore, Patricia Perkins, Ad Zalkus (A.D. Zalkus), Broadway Hollywood, Gershgorn Jewelers, Marjorie's Things (Marjorie H. Montgomery), Robinson's (J.W. Robinson Co.), Taylors of California, and Wyman Bros.
