Summary

Exhibition catalogs, in general, have an established structure: institutional presentations, academic essays, color illustrations of the works, as well as a work list and a bibliography. Exposed Museum Records follows this tradition and proposes an alternative in terms of form and content. Six independent files echo the structure of the original exhibition. The archives contain 1) curatorial statements, 2) essays of the members of the exhibition team, 3) the list of work and the cedulario, 4) information about the museography, 5) montage photographs and 61 a selection of the dead file. The set exposes data, points of view and documents that usually remain hidden in the museum archive. These complementary sources of information can be consulted simultaneously as a case study of the museological practice.
