  • Six reviews of A 24-Decade History of Popular Music compiled and sung by Taylor Mac. There are eight 3-hour performances which draw from 246 songs popiularized between 1776 and 2016. The first segment included songs from 1776 through 1806. Two nights later the songs were from 1806 through 1836, etc. The only 24-hour performance began at 12:25 p.m. on Oct. 8, 2016, and ended at around noon Oct. 9. The first 3-hour program opened Sept. 15, 2016, at St. Anne's Warehouse, 29 Jay Street, Brooklyn, N.Y.
  • The 3-hour shows were reviewed by Hilton Als in The New Yorker, David Cote in Time Out New York, and Matt Windman in am New York. The only reviews of the 24-hour performance were by Miriam Felton-Dansky in The Village Voice, David Cote in Time Out New York, and Zachary Woolfe in The New York Times. There was also an interview with Mac in The New York Times.
