  • Is everybody happy? (1941): "The title of course can refer to no one but Ted Lewis, who has used that salutation these many years. With Lewis and his orchestra are specialty performers, including Charles (Snowball) Whittier, a feature of the Lewis act for years; the Four Leahn Sisters, singers ; Jeanne Blanche, another of the Lewis troupe, doing a dance routine ; Gladys Tell, a swing singer ; Kay, Kay and Katye, adagio trio, and Geraldine Ross." (Motion picture herald, September 6, 1941).
  • Music a la King (1941): "This one has good entertainment values for both the avid modern music lovers and just plain people looking for relaxation. The Henry King Band does a good job of making melodies lively and a series of specialties threaded through the two reels come in with pace and give diversity to the offering. In addition to King and his orchestra, there are appearances by Judith Wright, vocalist ; Jimmy Dodd, comedian ; Louis Adlon, Caron Worth, Dinorah Rego, Joe Olvieira and Nestor Amaral, The King's Men and Jimmy Burt ... who taps in this good number, exhibits' a very agile brand of the heel-and-toeing." (Showmen's Trade Review, July 19, 1941).
  • Music in the Morgan manner (1941): "Russ Morgan and His Orchestra supply the music in this two-reel musical, which boasts a cast of Jane Frazee and Nina Orla, both in Universal's 'Buck Privates' ; Modie and LeMaux, dance team, Arthur Boran, Southern Sisters, and George Davis. Release date, March 19, 1941 ..." (Motion picture herald, March 22, 1941).
  • Shadows in swing (1941): "Jan Garber furnishes the music. With him are Louis da Pron, tap dancer; Jean Gary, singer and dancer; Stop, Look and Listen, femme harmony trio; Hugo Paul, pianist; Susan Miller, singer; Buddy Hughes and his acrobatic pooches. Numbers are 'Blame It On the Rumba,' 'I'm In the Mood For Swing,' 'Linger Just a Little Longer,' 'Nellie Bly,' (swing version), 'Little Brown Jug,' swing version of von Flotow's 'Martha,' and Garber's radio theme. This is just about on the same level as most of its class. FAIR." (Showmen's Trade Review, May 14, 1941).
