Summary
Khalil Gibran Muhammad, Director of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, gives a short presentation on the mission of the Schomburg Center's Junior Scholars Program. The Junior Scholars Program is a pre-college black studies program at the Schomburg Center, for children ages 11-17 in a 26-week Saturday enrichment program. It is designed with an inquiry-based and project-based approach to teaching about black American history and the global black experience.
