Summary
Diane Brady's "Fraternity" tells the story of how Father John Brooks, a Jesuit priest, in 1968 recruited 20 young black men to the College of the Holy Cross and during one of the most fraught racial periods in the United States. She is joined on the stage of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture by two of those men: Attorney, Theodore Wells, and former Deputy Mayor of New York, Stanley Grayson, to discuss their experiences at the College of the Holy Cross and their subsequent lives and careers.
