- Bajo la luna de Tarairí is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable stories about the Chaco war and deserves to be considered next to the great stories arising from the conflict. The author, with an elegant gesture, begins his story by attributing the discovery of his manuscript to an anonymous author. The author's daughters, Consuelo and Florencia, remember that in their childhood their mother advised them not to publish it, because it contained hard judgments about living and potentially powerful people. And so, "Bajo la luna de Tarairí " was left forgotten in a trunk until the daughters had to move the belongings of the father's house.
