Summary
The construction and evolution of Mexico between 1868 and 2018 through fundamental works of engineering and architecture that demonstrate and validate the close and necessary collaboration between both professions. It is a journey of outstanding projects in Mexico with temporary descriptions, relevant events and the transformation of the teaching of architecture and engineering. The publication is complemented with cartography, sequential timelines and iconographic material product of an arduous research in historical archives - public and private - photo libraries, map libraries, foundations and universities, with the purpose of presenting a broad spectrum panorama on the development of the country in the last 150 years.
