- Poems and prose poems on the theme of the junco. Individual poems are not attributed to particular poets.
- An artist's book consisting of 18 loose cards in the form of file cards, with tabs of alternating placement at top. Only five of the cards are printed on both sides. Four cards contain illustrations. Main text and illustrations printed in black, with titles and other headings in red and blue. The first card serves as title page and the verso of the last card as colophon. Issued in a slipcase made of handmade tan paper with orange cloth on sides; title printed on front of case in red with an abstract design in blue.
- "Designed & printed in the Fall of 2008 & Spring of 2009 by Friedrich Kerksieck of Small Fires Press. The images & type faces (Caslon & Bickham Script) were reproduced with photopolymer on a Vandercook 4 at the University of Alabama. Text for the book was printed on reinterpreted Pendeaflex Archival Quality 3 Tab File Folders. The images were printed on handmade cotton paper with unbleached abaca & banana added. The slipcase used Bristol Board, Brillianta Cloth & about 40 pounds of banana stalks cooked, rinsed & beat into a 5:1 mix of unbleached abaca & cotton. Both handmade papers were pulled by FK with help from H.H. Trimm in the Lost Arch Papermill"--Colophon.
