- Summary
- In addition to drawings and watercolors from the early 1990s to the present day, diary-like collages and series of large-scale computer prints, Tobias Rehberger also features three-dimensional works, in which the sculptor last sold his authorship to termites. For 250 million years, they have been building man-high ventilation towers by a kind of papier mache that look like modern 1950s sculptures. Rehberger's continuously pursued approach is to question certainties about the familiar. In the field of the examination of paper, this becomes evident with a lot of subtle humour. Exhibition: Haus am Waldsee, Berlin, Germany (06.09. - 17.11.2019).
