- Investigation into the Haitian Legislators' role in the PetroCaribe corruption and scandal. Petrocaribe is an aid program Venezuela offered to several Caribbean states but whose funding is suspected of being misappropriated in Haiti. In February and June 2019 citizens took to the streets of Port-au-Prince to protest this corruption in the movement known as PetroCaribeChallenge. The civil unrest lasted for many weeks each time.
