  • A biography of Sadako Sasaki, a two year old child in Hiroshima when the bomb dropped who died ten years later of radiation-induced leukemia but not before attempting to fold one thousand paper cranes which legend says will make a sick person healthy. A memorial was built for her in Hiroshima Peace Park where Japanese school children leave paper cranes in her honor.
