Retelling the story about how Perseus, in order to save his mother, kills the evil Medusa and, upon returning home with the help of Pegasus, the flying horse which he rides, and the gods, he uses the eyes of Medusa to turn the wicked king into stone. The author uses owls as the Greek chorus on the side to comment the action.
