- Summary
- Panel discussion devoted to the stage musical version of Urban cowboy, currently playing on Broadway, originally a 1980 film. The show's producers, director, composer/musical director, and press representative analyze the difficulties the project has faced since its conception, including the death of the original director, a musicians' strike, and numerous technical issues that plagued the show during its pre-Broadway run at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami, Florida. The show's financial history and its future prospects are discussed.
