• Edition includes an English translation of the work, followed by the original French text. Portrait of Crevel by George Platt Lynes is also included.
• "1830 is the fifth publication of Elysium Press and is limited to thirty numbered copies printed by hand. Each copy is signed by the artist and contains two soft-ground etchings which are colored by hand. The portrait of René Crevel is reproduced by photogravure and is laid into the text. The book was printed on Somerset paper and the typeface is Bodoni"--Colophon.
