- Talent management chief executive Dina Ruth Andrews was born on February 28, 1959 in Senatobia, Mississippi. She studied business administration and communications at California State University and, in 1978, was hired at Solar Records. In 1983, Andrews became the manager for Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis of Flyte Tyme Productions. Through, Dina Andrews Management, she personally managed and promoted numerous artists and groups including The Whispers, Lakeside, Shalamar, The Deele (L.A. & Babyface), TLC, and Virtue. She established Knew Beginnings Entertainment in the 1990s and represented gospel artist Percy Bady from 1994 to 1998. Knew Beginnings introduced publishing and recording divisions in 2003. Andrews has received numerous gold and platinum awards and has served as a voting member of NARAS-Grammy and as a member of ASCAP, the Atlanta Bureau of Cultural Affairs, and Stand 4 Agape Youth Center.
