- Comic book artist Rob Stull was born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 2, 1967. A graduate of the School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Stull worked for every major comic book publisher in the industry, on titles such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine and Nightwing. Stull was also the creator of Sequential Art: The Next Step, a traveling exhibit of over 100 items of comic book art by thirteen African American artists. This first of a kind exhibit was conceived to demonstrate the major role played by African Americans in the comic book industry. Stull was also a co-founder of Armanda Design Group, which has worked to fuse the cultural phenomena of comic books and hip-hop, and whose clients include Virgin Records and Tommy Boy Records. In 2004, Stull conducted a two-week course in Bordeaux, France on creating sequential art.
