Summary
  • "Jacobo Grinberg-Zylberbaum, notable scientist, author of more than fifty books and expert in various spiritual traditions such as Mesoamerican, Jewish Kabbalistic and Hindu, disappeared without a trace around December 8, 1994, days before his 48th birthday on December 12, 46 years. This fact constitutes an enigma, not only due to his absence without explanation, but for other reasons: the nature of the investigations that he practiced in his psychophysiology laboratory of the Faculty of Psychology at UNAM, where he was dedicated to demonstrating the Brain interconnection between individuals and direct brain influences on matter. Grinberg had an intense relationship with various shamans, among which the curandera Pachita and Carlos Castaneda stand out. Theoretical postulates of his scientific work, which he named Sintergía (synthesis-energy) would be verified in the actions of the men and women that he called autochthonous psychologists and were rooted in the cultural tradition of Mesoamerica.
