Summary
Dit najaar komt in de modetentoonstelling 'Let's Dance!' in Gemeentemuseum Den Haag de bijzondere relatie tussen mode en dans over en weer aan bod. Een feest der herkenning met professionele danskostuums, de invloed van kleding uit dansfilms, kleding om in te dansen, ontwerpen van bekende designers voor balletgezelschappen ' zoals Viktor & Rolf, Yves Saint Laurent, Vivienne Westwood, Jan Taminiau en Iris van Herpen' en prachtige kleding van bekende couturiers die zich door dans lieten inspireren, zoals Dior en David Laport. Bij de tentoonstelling verschijnt een bookazine met onder andere schitterende fotografie door Jasper Abels en Maarten Spruyt, interviews met danspaar Alexandra Radius en Han Ebbelaar en topchoreografen Paul Lightfoot en Sol León, de beste dansfilms allertijden, iconische ontwerpen, een artikel over de Haagse danswereld en een column van Penney de Jager.
