Summary
  • Programs for vaudeville openings from January through December 1911. Programs are primarily for the presentations at The Alhambra, Keith & Proctor's Fifth Avenue Theatre, Hammerstein's Victoria and Paradise Roof Garden, Manhattan Opera House, and The Plaza in New York City. Also included is a program for a vaudeville performance and ball for the New York County section of the Socialist Labor Party. Some other cities, including Boston, Minneapolis, and Wilkes-Barre, Penn., are also represented.
  • Notable performers include the Charles Ahearn Troupe, Arthur Aldridge, Maggie Cline, Daisy Harcourt, Adelaide Herrmann, Al Jolson, J. Warren Keane, the Three Keatons, Harry Kelly, William J. Kelly, George Lashwood, Bert Leslie's Players, McIntyre and Heath, Billy Montgomery and Florence Moore, Violet McMillan, Adele Ritchie, Vesta Victoria, Annie Yeamans, and Alva York. Also of note is the inclusion of motion picture presentations in many programs, including Vitagraphs, and using the Plazascope.
