In der Gegenüberstellung mit Malereien und Druckgrafiken von Max Ernst, Fotografien von Otto Steinert und Textilarbeiten von Elisabeth Kadow offenbart sich das lebendige Bild des Wesens eines Kunstschaffenden: Helmut Hahn (1928?2017). Sein Werdegang war geprägt von einem einmaligen Gespür für ästhetisches Wirken, das er seinen Schülerinnen und Schülern als Professor für Textil-Design an der Hochschule Niederrhein zu vermitteln verstand und inspiriert von der Verbindung zu Künstlerkollegen wie Max Ernst und René Laubiès.
