- Summary
- The collective monograph investigates the urbanistic phenomenon as a part of art processes at the end of the second decade of the 21st century. Authors focus their attention on the city of the urban era, the human place in it and the role of the diverse art world in creation a new space for people's lives. The modern city is a complex and fluid formation, and at the same time is an object of architect's, artist's, designer's will. The book explores the diversity experience of their cooperation. The articles cover a wide range of issues related to the methodology of studying the processes of artistic integration of architecture, other kinds of art and art practices. A number of articles are devoted to the analysis of the expressive kinetic capabilities of such elements as color, light, sound, material, as well as to exploring of the figurative and communication potential of such types of artistic practices as installation, monumental assembly, a symbiosis of landscape and architectural structures.
