Fab 5 Freddy is an African American director, TV host, graffiti artist, and a key personality in the history of hip-hop culture. The Fab 5 Freddy archive traces his multidisciplinary career from the 1980s to the early 2000s, and provides further insight into his public personality; business and recreational activities; and creative endeavors in the fields of writing and art. The collection contains, photographs, notebooks, correspondence, financial, legal, and administrative documents, screenplays, fliers and invitations, artwork, apparel, and magazines.
