- Description
- 1 videocassette (VHS, PAL) (18 min.) : sound, color; 1/2 in.
- Summary
- Lango sub-region generally, was in the late 1960s an area of high literacy and good school performance. Traditional or cultural beliefs did however restrict girl-child education. Very few girls compared to boys, therefore acquired quality education. The government policy of UPE is one legal framework among other affirmative action programs offering priority to girl-child education. This documentary depicts the activities of Actionaid Apac Development Initiative in supporting relevant quality education for girls, boys, women and men.
