- Depicts some street scenes and residents of Harlem, New York, during the 1980s, and anti-apartheid demonstrations in Harlem and Central Park, 1986-1987, consisting of candid shots of demonstrators, street vendors, persons going to religious services, a street musician, and residents on the street; and views of rallies and marches, an outdoor choir performance, local businesses and storefront churches, parked automobiles, and street traffic.
