Summary
Depictions mostly of civil rights activities in Mississippi during 1966, consisting of views of patients and psychiatrist Alvin Poussaint at a Medical Committee for Human Rights (MCHR) clinic in the Mississippi Delta region; a view of SNCC worker Willie Blue leading an elderly African American couple to voter registration in Charleston, Mississippi during the time of the James Meredith march; and a candid view of activist Fannie Lou Hamer leading others in song during the Meredith march. Also depicted is activist Ella Baker waiting to address a Women's Day rally in Union Square, New York City, in 1975.
