Summary
Photomechanical reproductions of photographic depictions of environmental and social conditions in New York City in 1968. Consists of candid shots and views of people, mainly children, recreating or enjoying leisure time, as well as couples love making and individuals existing alone in the urban environment. Also consists of views of urban air and water pollution, dead animals and garbage accumulation; congestion caused by tall buildings, pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and signage; graffitied walls; and a crowded cemetery.
