- Summary
- Depictions of residents of African descent in Georgetown, Guyana, from 1974-1975, consisting of portraits of individual men including a bag maker; a pair of women waiting at a bus stop; group portraits of young men, women with small children, and police officers; views of street vendors and outdoor market vendors, including children; and a view of a multi-racial group of school children being dismissed from school. Also depicted is a group portrait of women and young girls in Mahdia, Guyana (1974), and a view of a girl dragging a sack along a dirt road in Lima, Peru (1976). Some Guyanese East Indians are also depicted among the vendors.
