- Depictions of a revival service at the Second Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Houston's Third Ward, in 1986, consisting of candid shots and views of congregants praying and catching the spirit; candid shots of ministers, ushers and the church organist; and a view of mostly young children sitting in the church pews. Also depicted is an exterior view of the church building; and a view of the open casket and mourners at a wake held in the Johnson Funeral Home.

- Paul Vincent Kuntz, born in 1961, is an American photographer based in Houston, Texas. Kuntz has documented the lives and activities of the African American community in Houston's Third Ward (1986-1988); has produced, since the late 1990s, a series of street scenes, landscapes and architectural views using plastic toy cameras; and is the public relations photographer at Texas Children's Hospital. Kuntz is also an established jazz pianist.
