Summary
"Adopting a business approach is not an option for the Church but a must. In this book, the author raises an alarm to not-for-profit enterprises especially those owned and managed by faith-based organization including the Catholic Church. Equipped with personal experience and firsthand information, the writer takes his readers into different stages of a firm established by a visionary leader or an expatriate who nurtures it into maturity. However, in obedience to the law of nature, aging, retirement and death call for a smooth and proper succession plan for the sustainability of the firm. The author takes a line of media projects as a point of departure in a unique way which allows his argument and suggestions to cut across all projects which are societal or familial in nature. In his research the author observed a number of gaps in the entire process of succession plan and management of church projects and offers concrete proposals that can be adopted. This book is worth reading for anyone who wishes to see a successful sustainability of service-oriented projects."--Back cover.
