Summary

Panel discussion on the working relationship between playwrights, directors and choreographers in a stage production. Panelists describe how they became involved in theater. Charles Grodin, primarily an actor, discusses his new play 'One of the all-time greats,' and his collaboration with Tony Roberts, also known primarily an actor, who is directing it. Director Mark Lamos talks about his work with Jon Robin Baitz on the latter's drama The end of the day. Choreographer Susan Stroman discusses her collaboration with the director and design team of the musical Crazy for you. Victoria Traube, an executive with the talent agency International Creative Management, Inc., explains what role the agency plays in a stage production. Panelists also take questions from members of the audience.
