- Local Note
- The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is a reprint of the original added to the collection ("July 28, 1928" --G. K. Hall) with accession no. S569656 in ink on several parts of the item. Item lacks original covers and is bound in library binding with additional blank pages at the back in dark cloth over boards and gilt spine. This item is a pre-1962 addition to the collection but probably post-Lawrence D. Reddick period. This copy also stamps dated "Jan. 23, '89" -- lower right side of page [2] of cover; is probably an indication that the item was reclassified and transferred to the Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division from the Jean Blackwell Hutson Research and Reference Division in January 1989.
