- Note
- Plots Jamaica's historical trajectory, highlighting the country's nine prime ministers and two political parties but placing most hope for the future in civil society. Horace Levy is a social advocate and former lecturer at UWI, Mona campus. His social advocacy began in his protest with follow staff and students against the banning in 1968 of Guyanese UWI history lecturer Walter Rodney. He has since worked on many campaigns including for sugar workers, peace in Kingston's inner city, environment, prison reform, and abortion rights.
