- A video recording of unedited interview footage of Martha Graham and Liza Minnelli recorded prior to Minnelli appearing in the premiere of The owl and the pussycat. They discuss the upcoming program at the Metropolitan Opera House including The owl and the pussycat, Episode, Judith, Ecuatorial, Clytemnestra, and Appalachian spring. Topics discussed include the decision to cast Minnelli in the new ballet, funding for the arts, the training and capabilities of the modern dancer, and Martha Graham's history as a dancer. The interview cuts off abruptly so that a battery can be changed. The second part of the interview begins with Martha recounting her time with the Greenwich Follies and in vaudeville. Liza Minnelli describes the process of working with Martha Graham, and vice versa. Martha Graham then discusses her choreography process.
