Summary
  • Foreign body: A young woman flees from Tunisia to France after informing on her brother, an Islamist radical. Adrift in a new country, she seizes on an opportunity to work for a glamorous widow, and is uncertain how to respond when one of her brother's friends shows a romantic interest in her.
  • Stambali: In Tunisia, the first Africans taken from Mali, Timbuktu practiced their music and worship in the houses of their masters, a musical tradition which survives to this day.
